The 9th Annual "Faces of Fullerton"
You are invited to be a part of The Fullerton Collaborative Presents the 9th Annual 'Faces of Fullerton' to be held on Saturday, May 7, 2011 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Fullerton Plaza. The vision of this event is to bring together every aspect of Fullerton's community resources to honor, celebrate, share and recognize the richness that makes Fullerton a great place to live and work. Your participation will help to exhibit the diversity that exists in our city; a diversity that makes Fullerton so great.
The theme for this year's event is "The Key to Fullerton: Working Together" Each participant is asked to have a free inter-generational, interactive activity for outreach to the community. Special areas of focus for these activities will be health, education, literacy, enrichment, neighbors meeting neighbors, and local businesses interacting with the community. If you need help in designing an activity area, please give us a call.
There is a registration donation to obtain an activity space. This fee is only enough to cover the cost of putting on the event. The nominal registration donation for an activity space is $100. Simply fill out and return the attached application form. (NOTE: If you provide your own 10' x 10' canopy, the registration donation will be $60, 40% off the regular rate.)
Activity areas will be assigned on a first come - first served basis. Each activity area will be provided with a canopy (unless you provide your own for a reduced registration donation), two tables (either rectangle or round) and four folding chairs. Additionally most activity areas have electricity nearby. If you require any other items (e.g.: podium, movie screen, etc.,) you must provide them.
Finally, we ask that you consider supporting us by making a donation. Donations of prizes and/or gift certificates will be used in our non-profit raffle; donations of food items will be made available to the public attending the event. The event is free to the public, so any contribution you can provide will benefit our community. We know that with the combined effort of community organizations, schools and businesses working together, this event will be a success.
If you would like to be a part of this celebration, register online and use paypal or mail your check made payable to The Fullerton Collaborative no later than April 1, 2011. Mail your completed form and check to Tammi McIntyre, 118 Chestnut Place, Fullerton, CA 92832-2123 or fax it to her at 949-271-4896. If you would like an electronic copy (MS Word format), send Tammi an email with FOF Participant Form as the subject line at faces2007@pacbell.net. A participant orientation meeting will be held at the Hunt Branch Library on Tuesday, April 19, 2011. Details of this orientation meeting will be provided closer to the meeting date.
