Fullerton Collaborative Monthly General Meeting - United Visions, Stronger Communities
This month’s meeting brings a unique and meaningful opportunity to hear directly from two of Fullerton’s key educational leaders:
Dr. Steve McLaughlin, Superintendent of Fullerton Joint Union High School District, and
Dr. Bob Pletka, Superintendent of Fullerton School District.
Together, they will share their visions for the future of education in Fullerton, with a focus on aligning efforts across school systems, families, and community-based organizations to ensure that every child, from early learning through high school graduation, is supported, connected, and equipped to thrive.
This session is designed to be more than just an update — it’s a collaborative dialogue about how our educational leaders see community partnerships as essential to student success, especially in the areas of mental health, equity, youth development, and family engagement. Their insights will help guide our collective work and identify shared priorities that unify and energize the efforts of local nonprofits, schools, and city agencies.
What to Expect:
Spotlight Focus: We’ll highlight summer and fall internship opportunities from our local colleges, showcasing how these partnerships are preparing the next generation of leaders and expanding access to real-world experiences.
Local Action: Learn how you can be a part of transformative programs through updates from our subcommittees, including Early Childhood, Nxt Gen Youth Empowerment, Homelessness, and Health & Wellness.
Networking Opportunity: Meet over 50 professional members of the Fullerton Collaborative. Don’t forget to bring your business cards, flyers, and enthusiasm for a productive and energizing session!
Open to the public and free to attend.
